NDP, 30 July- Just had the 4th rehearsal for NDP... damn.. made several mistakes.. hmmm.. but i just cant concentrate... i talked to the fellow Usherers and over the weeks, realise that they are really quite friendly and nice.. and they are truly interested whateva work they volunteered to do... which surprised me, cuz i always thought they had too much time on hand and spend days and weeks on SMU events/projects... Thus it made me feel guilty for thinking of them in this way. Paiseh paiseh. also made another discovery. Realise that there are alot of students with double degree in the usherers cohort.. sighz.. made me feel guilty for not studying hard again.

SMUve Night, 30 july - reached Bukit Timah Campus by 930pm after debrief by NDP organiser, Weili drove us there.. So nice!. save some cab $$.. bands like Electrico and EIC were rockin' BT campus down within the premises of the LIBRARY.. books,shelves, chairs and tables were cleared and and a stage was place in the central location of the library.. creating the noisiest library in the whole world. my eardrums were crushed..!! But their performance were smashing.. and everyone cheered on.. it was wondeful to see everyone enjoying the last concert in BT campus.. held ironically in the library... =)... Pizza was supper and i had 4 slices at one go.. (damn).. before some left for home, they decided that they want a part of the old campus to keep as souvenir and the only detachable items are the seminar rooms, group study rooms and classrooms signboards.. they spend all their energy to tear the signboards from the walls.. Some even attempt to tear the electronic devices on the walls (to the displeasure of the security guards), this also include directions signs, toilets signs, notices.. anything goes.. The most craziest night in SMU history, guys pissing out of the window of the ladies, rubbish bin thrown out of the window, extinguishers were activated to cause disturbances, splashing etc... finally managed to sleep at 5 and woke up at 6.

SMUve, 31 July, The Procession - The next morning, the impt people of SMU(president, provost... etc) gathered at the campus where the flag lowering ceremony took place and we were all transported to the starting point of procession at Wisma Atria. 2 lanes were closed for the students' procession to the new Bras Basah Campus.. pictures attached.. It was a nice nice weather and think this procession was a success.. Hundreds of colourful, gay balloons were used.. Oooooo...!!!

After this 2 days of interacting with the helpers, participants, organisers, students, i realise that i have some problem with socialising.. or is it my height that made people scared of me? sighz.. think people are just too intimidated by my height or i just appear too aloof or bochup..?

Vivace, 31 July - the CCA day of SMU.. after visiting several showcase, i realise that there are lots of stuff i want learn and take part.. i want to try hiphop dance, salsa, Samba Masala, Photography.. to many things, too little time to do.. and on top of that, if my time are taken up, chances are, my grades will suffer!.. really have to know manage it well.. the more people i meet, the more self-inadequate i feel.. sighs sighs sighs.

I promise myself that i will be more active in school events/projects... raise my profile abit and make people change my view of me... Not that i really care, but just hope that it will be beneficial to me in the future..

Meet up with Benz, Jeffrey and Martin for a while., though i was shack.. but it was all good.. hehe.if i still have energy, i sure water skiing with Boon and seafood at east coast!!! haaha but really cannot make it!!! really

Woke up late this morning before i set abt to do the houswork.. ny neck is aching AGAIN. i didnt sleep well again... and i keep having nightmares.... not the ghostly kind. but that kind that makes u sacred. like i keep dreaming of cockroaches,.. and just last night i dreamt of someone trying to kill me.. and i was searching for help everywhere.. but i woke up before i got killed..*grinz*.. i guess i wont ever get killed in my dream.. sighz.. any dreams interpreter out there? or dreams expert.. who can help me sleep better???

today is first day of class... from Quantitative Methods. a.k.a QM.. haha..bid alot for this class lor.. from 12-5pm.. brought in lunch (subway sandwich), to the envy of many who just look at me.. delightfully eating it.. but later realise that my professor do not like people to eat in front of him. he feels that he is staging a show and that we are all sitting there watching him, enjoying the show and food. tmr i will hide behind laptop and eat..

School smells new.. haha! clean and high tech.. have to use the SMU card if i want to get into school.. and it is werid sitting in class and looking at stamford house at the same time outside. i am sure that sight of victoria street would be really lovely on rainy days.. i love rainy days..

Have to buy that blardy QM book... it is BIG HEAVY and EXPENSIVE>>> sighz.. 45 bucks gone.. my dear SMU frens, if u are under brian rodrigues class next time.. BUY the book from me.!! pls..

think i am getting sick alr.. mayb it is the rain..

I went karaoke today.. *Again*... haha.. but it was all good.. had fun.. then ate ice kachang at old airport road.. i love tasty hawker food.. even though can get quite dirty and "encounter" cockroaches. dun all of u love to go malaysia to eat despite the dirt ???....

Anyway.Riguang, my karaoke kaki told me one of the most gruesome mosquito story i ever heard...

IF you happen to see a mosquito on your flesh sucking your blood, the first thing you will do is to either swip it away or "piak", slap on it to flatten it.. Beside the common ways to kill it.. you can try this.. Pinch the area of skin that the mosquito is on, so that the nozzle is stuck in the flesh, unable to fly away. it will still continue to suck the blood. because there is no way that it can stop the flow of blood naturally, then it will suck and suck and suck and suck until it EXPLODE.. the excess blood will cause the body to burst and explode in the air. And it dies..

yesterday just did my third NDP ushering.. and the people from Prime Minister Office delegated the final roles for us and if there are no changes, i will be ushering the Prime Minister.. but the dumb thing is i am just suppose to usher him from his hot seat to the reception.. a distance of less then 30 metres.. So dumb.. macham like some big job.. haa.. feel abit cheated..

a few new girls at Thumper and they are pretty nice people. Selenge, Jana, Hege and cassidy.. and Adam. haha.. the cutest 18 year old boy anytime..

been having back and neck aches very often now.. dunno what's wrong.. sigh.

Summer class is starting on tuesday in the afternoon.. hope nothing serious will go wrong this summer term..

Next saturday, 30 July 2005, SMU campus will be moving.. and i am taking part in SMUve, staying overnight in the Bukit timah campus for the last time and helping with marshaling at the new campus.. Hope it is fun.. But think its gonna be tiring.. because it will be right after my NDP rehearsal that night.. =(

it has been a year since last year NPNF ..and today is npnf 2005.. hehee.. I went to be helper at the audition. saw some 240+ girl who came for the auditions, choosen from the thousand over applications sent in.. hehe.. ("...want some chocolate cream cookies?... "Soo Cheena..).. but not as good as the batch from last year. yours truly. haha.. okie. i am too YaYa.. bad bad.. must change.

Help them during the judging process by handling the contestant comcards and passing it to them. Had great fun daniel boey and geoff.. they are so funny.. said funny things to entertain themselves and me.. so i thoroughly enjoyed myself.. and it is amazing that i smiled for 3 hours non-stop just to remind the contestants to put on their smiles.. i was baffled as how i could have done that. But it was time well spent.. I also did some video-recording of the girls during the auditions for the angelia, who is in charge of the npnf project....

After lunch at Onyz, the auditioning place, i rushed down to funan to meet the SMU pple where i will start my first day of VVIP ushering work.. My shift was from 3.30 to 7.pm. Stood for 3.5 hours.. almost couldnt make it.. with all the walking during the audition, on top of the ushering work, my legs are almost soft.. But after ushering work, i met up with louis to have supper at geylang. we had frog leg porridge ( which i gave up halfway cuz i realise it is quite cruel to eat the legs of the frogs in the cage) and beancurd with Youtiao.. haha.. so nice. He even bought extra for my parents.. he is really nice to my parents.. haha.. and he sent me home.. (kekeke, i dun have to walk much. yeahs..~)

already 2.5 months into the summer vacation and still 1 more month to go.. i am eagerly waiting for school reopen.. well.. my last month will be a summer class.. so strictly speaking i still have 10 over days of holidays left... haiz.. too much time on hand, too much to think about and too much housework to do.. haiz...

Was talking to a poly fren online.. and after some time, realise that we are both from the same primary school at Bendemeer and same batch of students. we started talking about old days and old friends and old crushes. hehe... the very first boy i like in pri sch was an indonesian. very cute and good-looking boy but heard that he got hooked up with the prettiest girl in school after PSLE. oh well.. saw the pictures of some of the girls and realise that they had grown into beautiful women. Man.. i almost couldnt believe that the girl with glasses and braces and visible bones was the pretty girl in the picture. Time really flies. since young, I always wonder how it feels like being 20 years old.. now that i am 22.. it really doesnt make a single bit of difference. Too little achievements and too old.

I wish i am talented or something.. but i know i cant wish for this kinda things.. but well, i am just being crappy with all these time on hand. I wish i can be a dancer. that would the greatest wish. hehe.. my very first ambition in primary school was to be an astronaut after joining the science club..

i think the older i become, the more i wish for company. maybe because i have been spending most of my time at home, the day is harder to pass. but i think it is good too..cuz i get to spend some time with my mom. but if she wants to nag, i will be her direct recipient. bleah~

DAMN.. i am not the VVIP usherer anymore.. boohoo..

Applied for the VVIP usherers really early and the bloody committee misplaced my application and when we discovered this mistake, i was going on the US trip and had to reject. weeks later when the trip was cancelled, i kindly asked them whether they still need my help as usherer... and they said yes.. little did i now that the VVIP usherers was already chosen EONS ago.. and they need only general usherers... they didnt make themselves clear to me..wah lau.. now then realise it too late lar!!!! really damn sianz.. i thought can meet ministers.... why are the committee so confused? so messy and so jialat?? simple things also cannot clarify.. i dun mind ushering the general sector and doing liaison jobs.. but it is pissed me off when things are so unclear.. simple things le!!! wah.. spoil my day!!!!! haiz.. i hate complaining.... hate to have to committ to work that was so unclear to begin with! damn! SMU students le.. Kaoz..
